The department has small scale food processing facilities that are extended for experimentation and student training sessions. Baking plant line is equipped with Mixer, Sheeter, Proofer, Oven and Slicer. Fruits processing plant comprises of Puplers, Mixer, Pasteurizer, Homogenizer and Filling tanks. During last three years, these processing facilities beside student demonstration and experimentation have been extensively used for short term training courses in professional baking, farmers training and home scale processing of fruits and vegetables processing.
